A lot of time has gone in to designing, finding graphics, re-designing based on new sketches, finding a better graphic, redesigning based on new graphic, printing, collating addresses, checking addresses, asking for updated addresses, selecting paper, buying paper, microsoft mail-merging, realising paper bought was wrong size, going back to buy more paper, re-printing when unexpected address updates become known, checking, and re-printing when re-printed envelopes that required updating become smudged.
I took them downstairs and put them on our coffee table in preparation for a ‘Morven-and-Tom-Masterchef-watching-envelope-licking-session’. I am so proud we have (nearly) finished off this task. Although it is currently hurting to hear, every 5 to 10 seconds, a ‘whooooosh-SPLAT’ sound as each envelope, one by one, slides off the pile and on to the floor. Surely after the first ten slide off, they would stop, but I think envelope 25 just slid off! Better go pick them up off the floor …
