Although this heart rate monitor is used, it’s been very well looked after by the original owner. For the eBay version of this go to: (expired link)
I bought the Polar S710 in 2002 in Adelaide from Pursuit Performance, which is now the Heart Shop: http://www.heartshop.com.au
Along with the S710 I bought the Polar Infrared Interface, Cadence Sensor, and Heart Rate Strap (sized medium) all of which came to $767 (except I was fortunate to get discount as a friend worked there!)

You can also purchase a power output meter, but I could never afford it.
It all still works like new, I’ve never had any problems with it at all. The batteries were all replaced in the second half of 2005 and the unit pressure tested as they do when you take it in to the Heart Shop.
I still have all the original packaging, manuals, software CD, and of course the receipt!
Why am I selling?
The reason I’m selling it is because although it serves me well, I’m into marathon running these days instead of mountain biking, and there’s only one marathon in Adelaide a year. Since I’m still a student doing a phd it’s hard enough to survive let alone pay for plane tickets interstate to do more marathons. Until I actually finish my phd and get a job, I’ll just have to sacrifice what has been quite possibly the most motivating tool in my life since 2002.
Please bid generously and help support my dream!
