I just got back from a poker night at Nick & Fi’s new establishment of residency. I haven’t played poker for at least two or maybe three years since I last played with the A-Team, and surprisingly I came out with $13 profit, after a $20 buy-in. I donated the $3 back towards the house (since Nick and Fi the hosts faired pretty badly over the course of the night) and kept the $10 profit. Unfortunately the alcohol I purchased on the way cost me $10, so by the time you consider petrol for my bike then really I actually lost money in going. Overall it was good fun, especially for Seb who came out with over $50 profit. (Apparently this is normal procedure.) Here’s looking forward to the next one!
