Ikea Strikes Again

Ikea
I just heard how my brother went to Ikea, spent heaps of money on (pretty much I think essential) furniture but saved heaps of bling. Unfortunately, exactly like what happened to myself, he got home, and took something out of the box to find it’s not what he paid for. Typical bloody Ikea. I must stress that if you ever buy anything from Ikea be careful that you check each and every box before you leave the store!

Of course it must be said the items were CHECKed and that they matched the codes on the lists they gave us. It was this Ikea list that had a mistake on it as generated by an Ikea salesman on the floor (minor yet inconvinent mistake by Ikea). Further to this, a box which looked fine on the outside had smahed items inside. If only purchasing one or two items I would suggest opening them in the store to throughly check them over and possibly save yourself some time.

On another note I am pleasently suprised with the overall quality of the items we purchased, in particular the highly efficient LED lighting system. I would recommend this to anyone looking to display collectables in a glass cabinet.

    Tom,
they’ve got signs all over the pick up area warning you to CHECK what you pick up (and they will return stuff anyway) so you can’t rant too much.
I must say they gave me a table 1/2 price when I bollocked them just before Christmas. (However, I don’t consider Iky Ar to be particularly cheap, they are just somewhat convenient)
