conditioning for the city to bay

Well I think you could say that training for a 12k run does’t really gel with training for a 42k run. Below is my training data for tonights training session. Each sprint peak should have hit around 190bpm. Maybe I was tired, maybe I ate too much for dinner, or maybe training for a marathon has killed my ability to sprint. I’m not sure, but I’m soon to find out on September 18th!

latest sleep update

I have been sleeping quite consistently lately, regular 2am to 9am sleeps, which is quite healthy. I was reflecting back to a few months ago when I would pull random all nighters for no particular reason, and everything seems to be working better lately, so I’ll try and keep that happening :)

moving home this weekend

It’s official, I’ve decided to move home this weekend in order to chase my dream of elite athleticism. I have 5 weeks to prepare for my first marathon, and I have my eye on the 2010 Hawaii World Iron Man Challenge. Oh yeah, and this PhD on the side, and my recent involvements with the Peak Oil Crisis awareness communities.
